This market leading manufacturing company is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Product Engineering Specialist to join their business. The candidate must have a 'can do' attitude and possess a high attention to detail with excellent communication skills. A critical factor of the role will be the efficient utilisation of AI tools to ensure the smooth operation of the Marketing department and the attainment of its goals.
As a Product Engineering Specialist, you will work closely with the Sales team to identify potential markets and customers to support a business case for new product development, build/update company product sheets, build new product launch documents and facilitate product training alongside the sales department and lead product promotion campaigns to support global and regional sales strategy.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with various teams for Content Marketing, Digital Marketing and Event Marketing. Internally, the Product Engineering Specialist will also work closely with the Global Sales Team to adapt the corporate marketing communication strategy to local requirements as well as the wider R&D, Customer Technical Service and Operations teams for various product related projects.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s in marketing, Business Studies or related field (desired)
- Experience in similar product engineering role required
- Previous experience in Manufacturing industry required, ideally Packaging
- Previous experience in B2B required
- Flexibility to travel (an average of 2-4 times a year)
- Prefer to work on-site (key to effective specialist product knowledge)
- Language skills: Fluent in English. One additional language is an advantage (especially German, Spanish or French).
- Strong presentation skills
- Data rational and good numeracy skills
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Advanced level in PowerPoint required
