My client, a specialist equipment manufacturer are on the hunt for a Production Planner to join the team!
Role and Responsibilities β Production Planner
In this role, you will look to provide planned and deliverable work orders to the production teams in line to work the sales, sales forecast and consignment requirements of key customers. Largely utilising the business MRP system, this is a proactive role, highlighting constraints and issues to supporting departments to facilitate the efficient timely deliverable to the end customer.
Other responsibilities include:
- Plan and provide works orders to all of the support functions of the business to enable timely production of tracks in line with the sales requirements
- Monitor and report on the status of the production plan, highlighting over or under production at the earliest opportunity. Proactively suggest solutions wherever possible
- Continually improve the Production Planning function ensuring that the accuracy and efficiency of planning is always a high priority
Experience or Qualifications β Production Planner
- Proven experience in a Production Planner role within a fast-paced Engineering / Manufacturing business
- MS Dynamics and SAGE200 experience desired
- Experience with MS Office including MS Excel
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
Candidates who currently are a Production Planner, Materials Planner, Production Scheduler or MRP Planner may be suitable for this position.
