The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a large, friendly team of around 100 engineers. You’ll carry out planned preventative and proactive maintenance across modern production equipment, utilities and services, while also supporting continuous improvement projects and providing rapid response to breakdowns when required.

Responsibilities:- Performing proactive and preventative electrical maintenance
- Leading improvement and upgrade projects
- Taking ownership for the maintenance of specific production lines
- Actively supporting lean manufacturing initiatives
- Proven experience maintaining multi-axis CNC machinery and extraction systems
- Background in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting (FMCG highly advantageous)
- Woodworking/wood-based manufacturing experience is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of Siemens S7, Pilz Safety PLCs or similar (desirable)
- Strong fault-finding, root-cause analysis and corrective action skills
- Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering – essential
