We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client based in Forest of Dean. If you're an experienced warehouse leader looking to make a real impact, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of warehouse operations, develop your team, and drive continuous improvement within a growing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and develop the warehouse team
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure effective stock control processes
- Ensure warehouse systems accurately reflect stock movements and inventory levels
- Coordinate deliveries between ports, external warehouse locations, and site
- Monitor KPIs and use data to improve operational performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes and systems
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards
About You
We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who enjoys improving processes, developing people, and driving operational performance.
Essential Experience:
- Previous Warehouse Manager or similar leadership experience
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse operations
- Experience implementing process improvements and operational change
- Advanced Excel skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Experience using ERP, WMS, or MES systems
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
