My client, a leading force within aerospace manufacturing, is on the hunt for a Lead Systems Engineer to join the team in the Cheltenham Office!
Role and Responsibilities – Lead Systems Engineer
- Lead the definition, development, integration and certification of advanced hydro review and approve supplier analyses, design outputs, qualification evidence, and change proposals.
- Own the creation and control of system architectures, functional models, and interface definitions across mechanical, software, and electronics.
- Own the system integration strategy, ensuring elements integrate with accuracy and controlled interfaces.
- Champion continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and tools.
Experience or Qualifications – Lead Systems Engineer
- Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
- Extensive engineering experience with aerospace actuation systems or high-integrity systems.
- Proven experience leading supplier technical activities.
- Experience with modelling/simulation tools and MBSE/SysML (Desirable).
- Candidate must be a UK National, capable of obtaining BPSS or SC clearance due to projects of work being carried out in this role!
