My client, a global leader within the aerospace industry, is on the hunt to find a fantastic Lead Design Engineer!
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and support activities of actuation products (hydraulic and electro-mechanical).
- Fully involved in the full product life cycle for major projects for all major customers.
- Development and modification of design documentation.
- Lead cross-functional teams and support problem solving and corrective action activities to resolve design issues, ATP failures and customer returns/failures.
- Design of test rigs and equipment.
Experience or Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with extensive industry experience.
- Experience of designing from customer specifications using 2D & 3D design tools, preferably SolidWorks.
- Proficient experience of designing mechanical and/or hydraulic products, preferably within an aviation environment.
