Omega are supporting a rapidly growing UK-based energy company that specialises in advanced energy efficiency and monitoring solutions, in their search for an Installation Electrician to cover the M5 corridor.
As an Installation Electrician, you’ll be on the road visiting a variety of customer sites across different industries, with regular travel and overnight stays when required. You’ll be hands-on, installing cutting-edge metering and control systems that help businesses save energy, reduce costs, and lower their carbon footprint.
Responsibilities
- Carry out the installation of state-of-the-art 3-phase metering and control systems at commercial sites across the UK.
- Support internal teams by gathering on-site data and assisting with energy analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Travel regularly to customer locations, including overnight stays, ensuring timely and professional delivery of installations.
- Keep van stock organized, tools maintained, and ensure all installations are completed safely and efficiently.
- Represent the company on-site by liaising with clients, ensuring clear communication and a positive customer experience throughout the installation process.
Qualifications & Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification (essential).
- Proven experience installing or maintaining 3-phase electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and compliance standards.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willingness to travel nationwide with regular overnight stays.
- Comfortable working independently and managing time on the road.
- Previous experience in energy monitoring, building controls, or commercial metering.
