We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a provider of design, development, testing and manufacture of integrated protective systems. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing quality and product development, helping improve and develop processes and implementing changes to make processes robust and improve customer experience.

Role Requirements – Sr Quality Engineer

  • Review and audit a process and its controls to identify areas for improvement, implement updates and ensure processes are made robust through Quality documentation controls (Best practice, SOP’s/Control Plans etc).
  • Assist in collating all current safety, quality and rate issues to ensure our process and design teams reduce or eliminate risks through FMEA’s/Control Plan creation and support these activities.
  • Monitor and collate KPI metrics and OKR data and action accordingly for CI within the value stream.
  • Co-ordinate the build of pre-production parts with the planning and production teams.
  • Carry out specific projects as and when requested, and actively promote, run and be involved in Kaizens.
  • Management of the customer experience with regards to quality concerns and problem solving (CAPA).
  • Fulfil operational requirements as set out by the Value Stream and Quality Manager.
  • Support APQP/NPI projects and activities using lean manufacturing best practices.

The ideal candidate for the Sr Quality Engineer role would have:

  • Computer literate.
  • Manufacturing processes knowledge.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
  • Quality engineer degree (desired).
  • Min 2-3 years in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
