My client, a specialist assembly and manufacturing business, is looking for a tenacious Manager to join the team!

Role and Responsibilities – Graduate Design Engineer

  • Take ownership of drawing/BOM updates, change pack creation, data hygiene, documentation and provide structured support to New Product Development and NPI Activities.
  • Produce and update 3D models and 2D drawings to company standards.
  • Create and maintain BOM structures (new assemblies and sustaining updates).
  • Track actions and ensure engineering documentation is complete before release.
  • Draft first versions of work instructions, test report shells, assembly notes, supplier pack cover sheets and other engineering documents.

Experience or Qualifications – Graduate Design Engineer

  • Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
  • Experience with CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor/Creo or similar) and producing production drawings.
  • Familiarity with BOMs/ERP concepts (beneficial, not essential).
  • Any exposure to manufacturing processes (welding, assembly, machining etc.).
