We have an excellent opportunity for an analytical Senior Mechanical Engineering professional to join a prominent global aerospace business in a Senior Engineering position.
You will be responsible for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware, predominantly centered around hydraulics.
You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product supporting role.
Duties:
- Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain process control, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Guide product and process changes.
- Technical input using APQP techniques to support new programs and PPAP submissions.
- Gather engineering insight and communicate findings with suppliers and customers.
- Specify new test equipment for product output.
- Support sustainment team to identify issues across software, electronics, and hydraulics.
- Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.
Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Core experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic principles desirable.
- Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Strong presentation and organizational skills.
- Data analysis skills.
