We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to support and enhance manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in driving efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met across production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Support production teams with technical expertise and problem-solving
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and supply chain
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement techniques
- Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (desirable)
- Ability to analyse data and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience)
