Monday to Friday Days plus Overtime, one Friday a month off work! Work-life balance is the attraction for this role. It is an established site with an established LONG SERVING engineering team. Training, development, and support are provided on a manufacturing site. You will help the site make high-quality processed products.
An internal promotion has created a permanent vacancy for an Electrical Bias electrical maintenance engineer to focus on all areas of the plant, process and production.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
- Leading electrical and instrumentation repair, and working with CMMS.
- Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes of electrical engineering faults.
- Design, trial, and implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance.
- Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering.
- Manufacturing Industry experience.
- PLC experience preferred.
- A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
