Our client is a large global manufacturer with an established site and engineering team. Training, development, and support are provided on-site. You will help the site make high-quality manufactured products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing effective and efficient planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
  • Ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
  • Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Working with conveyor systems, PLC systems, motors, and controls.
  • Leading electrical and instrumentation repair and working with a CMMS.
  • Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes.
  • Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance.
  • Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive, and improvement maintenance as allocated.
  • Contributing to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering.
  • Manufacturing industry experience, heavy, medium, or FMCG environments considered.
  • Routine preventative maintenance experience and understanding of a PPM schedule.
  • Ability to find and fix faults quickly and effectively.
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, with a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
