Job Description

  • Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • Salary Package: 53,000 – £54,000, Overtime and Package – £55K+OTE
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Electrical bias
  • Client: Global Manufacturing Company
  • Location: Goole area commutable from Leeds, Hull, Doncaster, Wakefield, York, M62/A1/M1
  • Recruitment drive due to site automation, expansion and £MM CAPEX Investment
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Rotating Shifts, 7 days off every 3 weeks

You will be joining a Global manufacturing leader with a huge number of sites, so career development, progression, challenge, reward and development are all ahead of you. The manufacturing factory site you will be joining is world-class, huge, with hundreds of engineers, and you will be maintaining assets that produce Global market-leading consumer products that people buy every second of every day.

Key Responsibilities: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • To service, adjust and repair manufacturing and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner
  • To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements
  • Carry out planned and preventive maintenance according to agreed schedules
  • Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance, continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements – Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance, or similar
  • HND or HNC diploma in Electrical engineering
  • Or the equivalent of any of the above in electrical fields, preferably with a manufacturing background
  • Ideally, Manufacturing industry experience
