Role Overview – Graduate Electrical Engineer

Working as part of a multi‑disciplinary engineering team, you’ll contribute to the design and development of specialised electrical systems used in demanding industrial applications. You will support product development from initial concept through to manufacturing release, creating technical documentation, electrical schematics and Bills of Materials while developing your engineering expertise alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities – Graduate Electrical Engineer
- Review sales orders and releases to determine electrical design and contract requirements.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings and electrical schematics for manufacture and assembly.
- Prepare Bills of Materials and ensure complete, accurate contract release packs.
- Support continuous product development and refinement across new and existing systems.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while working within established engineering procedures.
Key Qualifications & Experience – Graduate Electrical Engineer
- Minimum 2:1 BEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- MEng advantageous but not essential.
- University projects, design work, or industrial placements beneficial.
- Strong ability to create and interpret technical engineering drawings.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is advantageous.
- Competent IT skills across MS Office applications.
