Responsibilities - Production Line Engineer

  • Ensure production lines achieve hourly output and performance targets.
  • Set up, operate and optimise manufacturing equipment to maximise efficiency.
  • Act as the first point of response for breakdowns and technical issues.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective root cause analysis.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
  • Conduct condition-based maintenance (CBM) to reduce downtime.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support operational excellence, quality, safety and performance objectives.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver manufacturing targets.

Experience / Qualifications - Production Line Engineer

  • Level 3 Engineering, Maintenance or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in a manufacturing, production, process, FMCG, pharmaceutical or industrial environment.
  • Ability to fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical or pneumatic equipment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to react to breakdowns while managing planned maintenance activities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to reliability and performance.
