Our client is a large global manufacturer with an established site and engineering team. Training, development, and support are provided on-site. You will help the site make high-quality manufactured products. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing effective and efficient planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
- Ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
- Planned and reactive maintenance to keep downtime to a minimum.
- Working with conveyor systems, PLC systems, motors, and controls.
- Leading electrical and instrumentation repair and working with a CMMS.
- Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes.
- Implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance.
- Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive, and improvement maintenance as allocated.
- Contributing to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering.
- Manufacturing industry experience, heavy, medium, or FMCG environments considered.
- Routine preventative maintenance experience and understanding of a PPM schedule.
- Finding and fixing faults quickly and effectively.
- A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
