Are you an Estimator or keen to launch your career in estimating? This is an excellent opportunity to join our Estimating team in Coleshill as part of a global business. Whether you’re new to estimating or bringing some prior experience, you’ll play a key role in preparing and delivering competitive bids. Working from customer specifications, requirements, or budgets, you’ll help us secure winning proposals that achieve strong margins and deliver real value to our customers. You’ll work across a diverse range of product lines within our Smart Buildings and Smart Power departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulating competitive quotations by selecting the best product mix and balancing technical & commercial aspects
  • Preparing clear, well-documented tenders on time, with accurate costs and full details
  • Managing the technical and financial elements of bids, estimates, and quotations
  • Collating technical product information and handling all submission housekeeping
  • Attending customer visits alongside the sales team to discuss solutions

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Ideally an electrical qualification (not essential – full training provided)
  • Previous experience in estimating or a similar role is advantageous but not required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & SharePoint)
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with a drive to innovate and improve
  • Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others
