Omega Tutoring are looking for 1:1 tutors to support children in care, children with special educational needs and excluded pupils in Camden and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on a 1:1 basis with students aged 5 to 16 years old.
- Deliver sessions focused on English and Maths.
- Conduct sessions at the student’s home or the local library.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students who may have behaviour and/or SEN difficulties and are likely below age‑related expectations.
- Provide a minimum of 3 hours per day, 5 days per week, with flexibility and the possibility of additional hours by taking on more than one case.

Qualifications and Experience
- QTS or QTLS preferred but not essential, if you have relevant experience.
- Minimum of degree level education.
- Experience working with students with SEN.
- Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
- Positive attitude and desire to engage and motivate students while making learning fun.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced child and barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
- Provide two professional child‑related references.
