The predicted salary is between 18900 - 23100 £ per year.
Work closely with the HR team to support the delivery of all people policies and processes in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
Supporting the HR function with the full recruitment process including interview, pre-employment checks and onboarding including the delivery of site inductions.
Supporting internal and external enquiries and requests relating to the HR function.
Daily on-site interaction and employee engagement with a multi-cultural and diverse workforce.
Supporting the business through the delivery of site absence management processes.
Ensure all completed training documentation is returned to the HR office, training matrix updated and paperwork filed.
Notetaking in formal meetings including but not limited to disciplinary and grievance hearings.
Help support, organise, and deliver onsite Occupational Health surveillance visits, ethical audits, and other such initiatives.
Ensure stringent right to work checks and responsibility for tracking visa expiry dates.
Support with the administration of contracts of employment and statements of change, and letter writing.
Maintaining personnel records.
General HR administration and support with any ad hoc HR projects as required.
Support payroll-related activities by maintaining an understanding of payroll processes and responding to employee queries regarding working hours, attendance, and pay.
Relevant experience in the HR field or strong transferrable skills considered.
Resilient and highly organised. Excellent attention to detail. Emotionally intelligent. Professional conduct with the ability to maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality.
Effective communicator, able to build trust and influence. Proactive and able to work under own initiative. Keen and enthusiastic attitude to learning.
