Omega Subsea UK is currently looking for a Legal Advisor to provide legal and contractual support on a wide variety of issues in an international context while working closely with management. This role is full-time and based in our Westhill office in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead / support the negotiation of operational contracts for Omega Subsea services.
- Perform risk assessment and review of tenders and related documents received from clients for our services.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Company operates within the legal framework/legal law.
- Take an active role in ensuring legal compliance within the company and adherence to our Code of Conduct.
- Provide legal advice/legal assistance to the management and project teams.
Education:
- Excellent English speaking, drafting, and writing skills.
- Degree in Law from a common law jurisdiction (JD or LLB).
- English or Scottish qualification is an asset.
Experience:
- Solid experience in a legal supporting role (preferably in the oil and gas industry).
- International experience.
- Strong commercial background.
Personal Skills:
- Self-driven & resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as in a group.
- Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
