As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Trainee Router Operator to join our production team in Leeds. No previous router experience is essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Trainee Router Operator, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to learn how to produce precision‑cut components used in high‑quality signage and display systems.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Learning to operate CNC routing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assisting with cutting aluminium, acrylic, foamex and other signage materials.
- Preparing materials for production runs.
- Loading and unloading machinery.
- Carrying out quality checks on finished components.
- Supporting machine maintenance and daily cleaning.
- Reading job sheets and production drawings.
- Assisting other departments when required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
As your skills develop, you’ll be trained to independently operate routing equipment and contribute to more complex production work.
