Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sign Installer role based in Leeds. The Sign Installer will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of a variety of signage types, ensuring that installations meet quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing installation plans, safely transporting signs to the installation site, using tools and equipment to handle installation, and collaborating with team members to deliver projects on time. The role requires compliance with health and safety regulations and may involve working at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Experience in sign installation techniques, including familiarity with tools, materials, and equipment related to the trade
- Understanding and application of health and safety regulations, especially related to working at heights
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality installations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans
- Capability to work as part of a team and to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project managers
- Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions and on ladders or lifting equipment
- Previous experience in construction, signage, or related fields is a plus
