Our client are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer based in the Midlands to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities – Field Service Engineer
- Install, investigate and repair electrical and mechanical machine faults on advanced printing equipment
- Plan and prepare correct parts, equipment and resources for assigned repairs in a timely manner
- Communicate escalations, problems, concerns or delays clearly to CSC Supervisor and Customer with follow-up reports where required
- Assist customers and internal staff with spare parts identification
- Take ownership of assigned faults and provide clear verbal and written communication to customers
- Support colleagues and other SSUs when needed
- Demonstrate flexibility with start/finish times, overnight stays and cross-skilling
- Provide helpdesk telephone and remote support when required
- Observe Health and Safety and Working Time regulations
- Adhere to Company handbook policies and procedures
