Salary: £27000 per annum

Working hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 4 days per week, 0700 – 1700

We are now seeking to recruit a workshop operator to work for an engineering manufacturing business based in Longlevens. This is a permanent position for a workshop operator who comes with a genuine interest in engineering manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling and disassembling mechanical components
  • Prepping parts including but not limited to improving material properties
  • Operating saws to cut metal parts
  • General shop floor duties

Requirements:

  • This role would suit a candidate with a genuine interest in engineering manufacturing.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, ideally assembly or sheet metal or engineering manufacturing.
  • Willing to perform various tasks within the manufacturing environment to support the paint shop, assembly, and CNC department.
