We are now seeking 2 permanent deburring operatives to work for a precision manufacturing company based near Gloucester. The appropriate deburrer will be responsible for removing excess material, sharp edges, and imperfections (burrs) from metal or plastic parts using hand tools or machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deburring, finishing CNC-machined components
- Using tools like grinders, buffers, sanders, and deburring machines to smooth sharp edges, corners, and surface imperfections
- Ensuring work meets quality standards
- Cleaning, polishing, and preparing parts for subsequent processes
- Carrying out visual inspections of parts
Requirements:
- Experience in deburring, polishing, or grinding in a precision manufacturing role
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight tolerances
- High level of reliability and integrity
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy production environment
