We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead on hardware test equipment sustainment projects for global military application. You will be responsible for project execution, stakeholder collaboration, and vendor management in the delivery of major projects for test equipment sustainment. You'll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you'll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging customer facing role.
Duties:
- Lead planning, execution and delivery of Test Equipment programmes
- Manage multiple projects ensuring compliance with customer requirements
- Oversee schedules, resource allocation, financial forecasting and status reporting
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Work with military customers to capture, validate and manage requirements
- Develop Requirement Specifications and Statements of Work to support RFQs
- Manage subcontract procurement and vendor performance
- Conduct vendor audits and enforce supplier quality and contractual compliance
- Produce and maintain project documentation, proposals
- Drive resolution of corrective actions, significant issues and non-conformances
- Support root-cause analysis, quality audits and health & safety risk assessments
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Project management experience in Aerospace, Automotive or Test Equipment sectors
- Proven experience managing subcontract procurement and supplier performance
- Strong requirements management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
- Eligibility to obtain required US or UK security clearance
