My client, a bespoke precision manufacturer, is on the hunt for a Manufacturing Manager to join the team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- This role is brand new within the business due to growth. You will be responsible for developing, improving and controlling the manufacturing processes used throughout the business.
- Drive Lean manufacturing principles, standardise production methods and improve documentation.
- Reduce waste and lead process improvements to support business growth.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Analyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and throughput.
Experience or Qualifications:
- Proven experience within manufacturing or precision engineering environment leading and improving teams.
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing manufacturing processes for machined mechanical assemblies.
- Experience creating work instructions, SOPs, manufacturing routings, BOM structures and manufacturing instructions.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, including value stream mapping, standard work and waste elimination.
