Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in the recruitment of an Air Conditioning Engineer to work on a major UK supermarket contract. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple retail stores, ensuring the smooth operation of commercial heating systems and air conditioning units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across several sites.
- Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's.
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
- Order spares to the laid-down procedures.
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the HVAC supervisor of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
- Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 within Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/HVAC or Equivalent Qualification.
- City and Guilds 2079-1 F Gas Category 1.
