Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, Setting and operating a variety of CNC Machinery using Mazak control systems to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications.
- Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements.
- General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled.
- Maintain your area to a high standard.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering – nice to have.
- General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled - essential.
- +2 years CNC experience (preferably Mazak machines).
- Ability to understand CNC programming language and modify programmes as required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents to check and inspect finished components for defects.
