Responsibilities
- Inspect parts and assemblies, including subcontracted components, using appropriate inspection equipment
- Conduct final inspections of assemblies, including visual checks and documentation review
- Issue Authorized Release Certificates following successful inspection
- Review supplier FAIRs and support completion of FAIRs for finished assemblies
- Raise non-conformance reports and coordinate disposition with relevant stakeholders
- Act as a delegated Quality representative in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges
- Knowledge/experience in inspecting parts from speciality processes
- Experience in inspecting parts using CMM machines (Advantageous)
- Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications
