We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading aerospace and automotive manufacturer, for a skilled and proactive Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician to join their expanding in-house maintenance team. This role would require you to work on a rotating shift pattern. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician to work with advanced machinery and technology in a high-performance manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing equipment used in the production of precision-engineered components and assemblies for aerospace and automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair plant machinery and production equipment
  • Perform general site maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out timely repairs
  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance across the facility
  • Work independently or as part of a multi-skilled engineering team
  • Maintain and repair equipment with industrial drives and control systems (CNC/PLC)
  • Experience with robotic and laser equipment is beneficial

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Qualification equivalent to BTEC/NVQ Level 3/HNC/HND
  • A proactive approach to efficiency improvements and problem-solving
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across various work areas
