The Role - CMM Quality Inspector

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Swindon

You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.

This is working in a highly innovative company that support global blue chip aerospace companies.

Responsibilities - CMM Quality Inspector

  • Operating CMM for inspection purposes
  • Dimensional and visual inspection of parts and structures.
  • Presenting and discussing nonconformities with the team
  • Preparing non-conformity reports
  • Inspecting non-conforming parts
  • Participating in investigations and problem-solving tasks
  • Participating in Gauge R&R studies

Background - CMM Quality Inspector

  • CMM Hands on experience (PC-DMIS essential)
  • Experience in inspecting GD&T symbols
  • Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Knowledge/experience in inspecting parts from speciality processes
