This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned and influential Supply Chain Leader to join a prominent business in the aerospace and defence sector. The Strategic Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing the supply chain function for a new branch within the business offering a unique and exciting opportunity. Taking a strategic approach, you’ll ensure the successful design and delivery of supply chain development and growth.
Duties:
- Provide strategic vision and lead the design and delivery of the supply chains.
- Execute the full strategic sourcing lifecycle, including:
- Strategy development
- Supplier identification and evaluation
- Spend and market analysis
- Negotiation of long-term agreements
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Conduct global market research to identify suppliers that enhance business value.
- Run RFQs and assess supplier capabilities.
- Lead all site and cross-site supply chain activities.
- Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and corrective actions.
