This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the face of an organisation and takes pride in delivering a warm, polished and efficient front of house service. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression for visitors, contractors and colleagues alike.

Covering the reception on a part-time basis, you’ll support the Facilities team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the front desk.

Duties – Receptionist

  • Answering and directing inbound calls via the switchboard
  • Meeting and greeting visitors, offering refreshments and notifying hosts of arrivals
  • Ensuring reception is clean, professional and welcoming at all times
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing post and courier services
  • Booking taxis with preferred suppliers and maintaining booking logs
  • Supporting Health & Safety requirements for visitors and contractors
  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices (taxis, couriers, stationery)
  • Supporting Facilities with site information and general administration
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to improve ways of working

Experience/Qualifications – Receptionist

  • Previous experience in a busy reception or switchboard environment
  • A professional, friendly and personable approach, with confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to adapt quickly when priorities change
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when using systems
  • Good IT skills and experience using multiple computer systems
  • The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
