Role: Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Leighton Buzzard Contract: Permanent Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 + Overtime + Benefits (DOE)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with over 25 years of industry experience, delivering installation, service, and maintenance solutions across commercial and industrial environments including healthcare, education, and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities - Air Conditioning Engineer

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of air conditioning systems
  • Service and maintain refrigeration equipment across a range of commercial and industrial sites
  • Install, commission, and repair ducted HVAC systems
  • Diagnose faults and undertake repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and industry standards
  • Complete service reports and required documentation accurately
  • Work independently to manage workloads while supporting wider engineering teams when required
  • Maintain excellent client relationships through high standards of service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and company procedures

Requirements - Air Conditioning Engineer

Essential

  • F-Gas Certification 2079 – Minimum Level 1 and Level 2
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the HVAC and refrigeration industry
  • Experience working on air conditioning, refrigeration, and ducted systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check

Desirable

  • Experience working within commercial and industrial environments
  • Knowledge of healthcare, education, or manufacturing sector requirements
  • Additional HVAC or mechanical qualifications
  • Experience with installation and commissioning works
