Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in their search for a Refrigeration Engineer working on commercial refrigeration equipment. The right Refrigeration Engineer will be the first line in all service and maintenance throughout allocated sites. They will also effectively maintain service and repair Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and aid HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify faults and carry out effective repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment.
  • Communicate professionally with customers on site and coordinate with internal service administration teams.
  • Handle engineer and customer queries over the phone, offering clear and accurate guidance.
  • Report product issues and work closely with QC and Service Managers on product improvements and safety matters.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Time served apprenticeship with an NVQ / City & Guilds refrigeration qualification.
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification (C&G 2079 / CITB refrigerant handling).
  • Strong refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic skills, with proven experience in fault finding.
  • Good refrigeration knowledge, including commercial systems and electrical safety awareness.
