Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century.
Responsibilities
- Developing web applications using the MERN stack, TypeScript
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, define, and implement new features.
- Work with Public Cloud (AWS) services, leveraging those that enhance our applications
- Testing applications for performance and functionality
- Developing user-facing features using React.js, ensuring appealing and responsive user interfaces.
- Collaborating with other developers on projects
- Work alongside development members and business partners to develop microservices
- Identifying and addressing bugs, glitches, and performance issues to maintain application functionality.
- Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends to contribute to continuous improvement
- Write technical documentation
Experience / Qualifications
- Strong skills in Advanced JavaScript (NodeJS ES6) technologies, TypeScript with knowledge of best practices
- DevOps strategies, designing and best practices/strategies
- Senior development experience using MERN framework for web application development.
- Unit with React Testing Library / Jest and E2E test automation with Cypress
- Industry standard CI/CD Orchestration Tools (GitHub Actions and Docker)
- Knowledge of Docker, API microservices, API integration with SAP
- A detailed and working knowledge of AWS services
