Role: Quality Inspector Location: Wolverhampton Industry: Aerospace Shift: Day shift The Role: Quality Inspector We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Wolverhampton. As qualified Quality Inspector, you will ensure the quality and precision of both internally produced and supply chain products. You\’ll be responsible for the reviewing and improving of CMM programs, conducting inspections, and supporting the Quality Team in other areas. Duties: Quality Inspector Provide technical support for new product introductions (NPI). Using hand tools such as micrometers, height gauges, shadowgraph and vision systems. etc. Perform Manual inspections using hand tools vision systems and Assembly final inspections. Provide technical support and training for Operator Inspectors Non-conformance report writing. Perform inspections using Zeiss Calypso and PC-DMIS systems. Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections. Provide cross-functional inspection support for other areas of the department. Background: Quality Inspector HNC/HND in engineering First Article measurements First Article report generation (Q-Pulse) Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
