Your focus will be packaging biased projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and improve a variety of processes, challenging you every day!
- Responsible for managing the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects in the factory-based role, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Cover suppliers' selection financial control and customer acceptance; own factory equipment including packaging, processing, and utilities.
- Report directly to the Project Engineering Manager and deliver pragmatic, value-engineered projects to cost and time specification.
- Coach, mentor and develop multi-functional teams of engineers and designers/contractors to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Cover factory equipment including packaging, processing, and site activities.
- Lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, supplier selection, URS – User Requirement Specifications, feasibility and justification analysis, equipment commissioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate calibre engineer, mechanical, chemical or electrical bias, with experience ideally within complex process manufacturing.
- Methodical and detailed worker.
- Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering backgrounds considered, ideally in a regulated environment from high-volume manufacturing.
- Experience developing technical engineering solutions in automated environments.
- Experienced Project Engineer from manufacturing, open to industry as long as it is complex and time-sensitive.
