My client, a well-established specialist in machining manufacturing business, is currently looking for a CNC Milling Machinist to support the production of high-quality, bespoke medical, automotive, and aerospace components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business supplying precision parts across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Milling Machinist
- Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components
- Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and written instructions
- Machine a variety of materials including acrylics, polycarbonates, and other engineering plastics
- Use inspection and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances
- Self-inspect components to maintain quality standards
- Accurately complete relevant documentation and production records
Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Milling Machinist
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines (any control system)
- Experience machining plastics is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to use measuring tools
