Salary: £35,000 - £38,500 DOE

Type: Perm - Double Days week 1 6:00 am to 02:00 pm Monday to Friday and week 2 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

My client, a well-established specialist in machining manufacturing business, is currently looking for a CNC Milling Machinist to support the production of high-quality, bespoke medical, automotive, and aerospace components. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business supplying precision parts across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Milling Machinist

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components
  • Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and written instructions
  • Machine a variety of materials including acrylics, polycarbonates, and other engineering plastics
  • Use inspection and measuring equipment to ensure components meet required tolerances
  • Self-inspect components to maintain quality standards
  • Accurately complete relevant documentation and production records

Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Milling Machinist

  • Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling machines (any control system)
  • Experience machining plastics is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Ability to use measuring tools
