Pay Range/details: Competitive Salary
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: Continental 12-hour shift pattern, rotating days and nights on a 2/2/3 schedule, with 2x 30-minute and 2x 10-minute breaks
Our client based in Corby are currently looking for a Multiskilled Technician to join their growing team. As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will maintain 24/7 equipment availability through proactive and reactive maintenance to equipment on the shop floor
Key Responsibilities
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site services
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures, aiming for a \βFirst Time Fix\β resolution
- Log equipment maintenance records in the engineering system and complete required quality documentation
- Share comprehensive shift handovers with engineering team members for operational continuity
- Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory standards in every task
- Support contractor management to ensure compliance with site safety policies and procedures
- Drive process enhancements to boost equipment reliability and operational uptime
- Keep informed of current regulations relevant to your technical expertise
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 3/4 NVQ diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent (e.g., vocational certifications for non-UK educational backgrounds)
- Completed engineering apprenticeship or comparable educational qualification
- Multi-skilled qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering
- Demonstrated experience in a production maintenance setting with multi-disciplinary skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and high standards
Desirable: HND in Engineering and experience with PLC programming or fault diagnosis
