The Role:
We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join my client's Design team, to develop equipment concepts and schemes that create competitive advantage and can be constructed and commissioned safely and effectively. Produce general arrangements, detail drawings and material schedules which are clear, accurate, cost effective, and meet the requirements of the specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure alignment with group technical standards
- Report problems and deficiencies in the design brief, and develop pragmatic cost-effective solutions
- Suggest solutions to problems based on an understanding of the relevant technologies
- Produce technical information, drawings and associated schedules and documents, taking due care to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
