Responsibilities:
- Ensure production lines achieve hourly output and performance targets.
- Set up, operate and optimise manufacturing equipment to maximise efficiency.
- Act as the first point of response for breakdowns and technical issues.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective root cause analysis.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Conduct condition-based maintenance (CBM) to reduce downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting activities across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support operational excellence, quality, safety and performance objectives.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver manufacturing targets.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Level 3 Engineering, Maintenance or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in a manufacturing, production, process, FMCG, pharmaceutical or industrial environment.
- Ability to fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical or pneumatic equipment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to react to breakdowns while managing planned maintenance activities.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to reliability and performance.
