My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Pest Control Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.
The role will require visiting stores, food halls, outlets, depots and also office sites at agreed intervals governed by the specification service delivery and carrying out a detailed inspection in a safe and professional manner with due regard to Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations. This would involve providing an effective service to our clients site to effectively communicate observations verbally as well as in writing via the reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all pest related issues, i.e. infestations/cleaning/proofing, to resolve ongoing problems.
- Respond promptly to genuine emergency call outs from the Helpdesk.
- Formulate detailed reports on stores, escalating issues to all relevant stakeholders.
- Identify infestation non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Area Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
- Prioritise detailed recommendations to stores and achieve agreed timescales and response times to proactively defend against Pest activity.
- Carry out proofing works and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
- Advise and document to the SM of any pest activity and how this may be detrimental to the smooth running of the store.
- Always comply with the company Health and Safety Policy.
- Use pesticides in a safe and responsible manner as specified under the Control of Substances.
Qualifications & Experience:
- RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving license
- Proven experience in pest control environments

- £37,565.78 (including on call 1:4)
- 45 hour week
- Travel time paid after half hour each way
