Material Planner Cheltenham Contract Up to £19.50 p/h Material Planner required by Industry leading engineering company to support an increase in demand.

The successful Material Planner will play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.

Working closely with Supply Chain, Production, and Programme teams, you will help maintain efficient material flow throughout the business.

The contract is anticipated to be 6 months.

Main

Duties: Material Planner Managing material requirements in line with production plans and business objectives.

Monitoring and resolving material shortages to minimise disruption to operations.

Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure material availability.

Investigating and resolving supply chain and inventory issues through root cause analysis.

Supporting bulk material management and end-of-life stock activities.

Monitoring inventory levels and recommending appropriate stock and safety stock holdings.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across material planning processes.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Material planner A background within a similar planning or supply chain role or equivalent transferrable experience.

Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment.

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

A proactive and collaborative approach.
