Security Systems Engineer Hull £35K - £40K (DOE) Permanent My client is on the lookout for an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join the team.

The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect physical assets, personnel, and sensitive information.

They play a crucial role in safeguarding organizations from various threats, including unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.

Key Responsibilities – Security Systems Engineer Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Conduct site surveys, security assessments, and system inspections to identify client requirements and potential vulnerabilities.

Assist with system design, layouts, technical schematics, and project planning.

Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to ensure optimal system performance and compliance.

Test, certify, and commission security systems in line with industry standards and client specifications.

Produce accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, and system reports.

Manage projects from installation through to completion, coordinating with project managers and key stakeholders.

Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Ensure all works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.

Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Maintain accurate job sheets, timesheets, and project documentation.

Stay up to date with emerging security technologies, networking principles, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience – Security Systems E ngineer Previous experience installing, servicing, and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Good understanding of IP networking and integrated security systems.

Experience fault-finding and resolving technical issues on security systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
