My client, a global specialist manufacturing business, are on the hunt for a Logistics & Operations Administrator to join their fast-paced, ever-growing business!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role requires an organised and methodological approach to coordinate all the outbound and some inbound logistics movements across the site.
  • You will be working with Sales, Production and Purchasing to plan these movements whilst covering other administrative duties across the team.
  • Being the first point of contact on site for collection and delivery drivers, and ensuring they comply with the necessary Health and Safety requirements.
  • Carrying out the booking in and receipt of all inbound materials and maintaining accurate records.
  • Arranging a proportion of other despatches via courier or alternative transport methods.
  • General office administration duties including filing and record keeping.

Experience or Qualifications:

  • Proven administration experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in liaising within the logistics and materials teams.
  • MS Office experience (proficiently MS Excel).
  • SAGE 200 experience (desirable).
