Job Role – IT Business Analyst – Data & Analytics
Reporting to the Business Partnering Manager the Business Analyst will serve as a critical link between information technology capabilities and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both IT and business practices and will work to ensure that our technology solutions align with the company\’s overall strategy and goals.
Duties – IT Business Analyst – Data & Analytics
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements for IT projects and initiatives.
• Business Process Analysis: Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
• Technical Liaison: Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements and technical specifications.
• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support business case development, project scoping, and performance measurement.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and user manuals.
• Project Management Support: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate that IT solutions meet the business requirements. Assist process leads in developing and executing User Acceptance testing as well as triaging any reported defects.
• Change Management: Support the development and implementation of change management strategies to drive user adoption and minimize disruption to business operations.
Experience/Qualifications – IT Business Analyst – Data & Analytics
• Bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with business process modelling, data analysis, and project management.
• Experience as a subject matter expert in an FMCG environment advantageous.
• Experience working with SAP
