We are recruiting for a leading global manufacturer operating within a fast-paced production environment, supplying high-quality packaging solutions to major brands. Responsibilities:
- Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic systems across production equipment.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise machinery reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and implement effective, long-term solutions to minimise downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment performance (OEE).
- Maintain and service site equipment, utilities, and general mechanical systems.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Complete maintenance records and ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards.
- Assist with basic electrical fault finding and repair where required.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Strong mechanical maintenance background within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Basic electrical fault-finding ability (desirable, not essential).
- Proven ability to diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
